How to Apply

Admission is through the USSU Entrance Test (USSU-ET 2026), followed by physical, skill, and interview stages, culminating in a merit-based seat offer.

USSU Entrance Test (USSU-ET 2026)

60-minute offline MCQ test — 40 marks (UG programmes) or 25 marks (Diploma). Bilingual (Hindi & English), covering General Awareness & Sports GK, Sports Science Fundamentals, Logical Reasoning & Analytical Aptitude, and Language & Communication Skills.

Physical Efficiency Test & Sports Skill Test

A mandatory PET battery (6 events, 30 marks) plus Sports Achievement weightage (up to 20 marks) for UG programmes. The Diploma in Sports Coaching additionally includes a Sports Skill Test (30 marks) and Motor Ability qualifying tests.

Interview / Viva Voce

10 marks, assessing subject knowledge & sports IQ, communication skills & personality, coaching aptitude & motivation, and professional experience / sports background.

Document Verification

Originals plus one self-attested set: Class X/XII mark sheets, migration/character/transfer certificates, Aadhaar card, medical fitness certificate, anti-ragging affidavit, and category certificates where applicable.

Merit List & Admission

A minimum of 35% marks overall is required to qualify. The final merit list is prepared out of 100 marks; a seat is confirmed only upon payment of the first instalment of fees.

  • The Admit Card is issued provisionally and will not be sent by post — download it from the University website.
  • Information provided in the Online Application Form will be treated as final; requests for change will not be entertained.
  • The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Misrepresentation, document forgery, or unfair means will lead to permanent disqualification and legal action.
